I have a deep understanding of the automotive industry as well as extensive exposure in Product Management,Technical support, After Sales Service, product support, Sales(Primary and Secondary) and marketing support of automotive products including Pistons/Rings, Diesel and Gasoline Engines, Heavy Earthmoving Equipments and Rotavators. My strengths include service, design, implementation and maintenance of quality control systems & procedures, delivering technical presentations to the customers, imparting technical training and handling & carrying out root cause analysis of customer complaints and sales.
I have effectively liaised with several Vehicle Manufacturers on sales/service, engine design and development and with Stationary Diesel Engine manufacturers for quality control systems. In addition, I have knowledge of ISO standards, TS standards, TPM and 5S.
In my last role as Regional Head-Marketing(OE & Exports), with India Pistons Ltd,a TAFE Simpsons amalgamations group,I am responsible for business enhancement with OEMs for pistons and rings.I have large customer base of Escorts Kubota Ltd, International Tractors, TMTL,Tata motors etc.Besides I am also responsible for Exports.
In my previous role as a Vice President with Benara Bearings and Pistons Ltd,I was responsible for overall business functions of the company including works,outsoucing,institutional sales and After market sales.
Previously I was Head-Product Development with MAHLE Engine Components India Pvt Ltd where I was responsible for all technical related matters at India and Asia level,besides ,technically supporting sales team at all India level. Also, I was entrusted with an additional responsibility of sales RM(North/West) for India After market and took reporting of sales personal at all India level and managing them. Also I was involved in outsourcing of engine components,Vendor Development and interacting with our MAHLE plant in Chennai.
I had also worked with with Shriram Pistons and Rings Ltd. in their Technical services section for 17 years and supported marketing/sales at all India level in the sale of Automotive Pistons/Rings/Pins and Engine Valves besides working in R & D for sometime.
With Escorts Ltd, I gained rich hands on experience in repair and servicing of Earthmoving Equipments and it's components.Knowledge of all Earthmoving systems added to my knowledge base.
I am B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in marketing.I have also to my credit several certifications on various engines training workshops and management seminars and worked as co-ordinator for TPM.
In view of my relevant experience and skills in addition to excellent negotiation, problem solving and team leadership capabilities, I am confident of achieving assigned managerial objectives and find myself capable of managing a sales/ service team all All India or International level.
